Our Mission
Alaska Coastline Conservation (ACC) is committed to realizing a vision of pristine, untouched coastlines in Alaska. We will achieve this by mobilizing a dedicated team of conservationists, supported by global donors, to actively remove harmful residues and waste from our oceanic shores. Through relentless and systematic efforts, ACC will restore the natural beauty of Alaska's coastline, ensuring that future generations can enjoy its splendor without the burden of human impact.
Our History
Founded in May of 2024, Alaska Coastline Conservation, a non-profit in Alaska, has been organizing to commence a long-term effort to remove trash from Alaskan beaches starting in 2025.
Our Team
Our Directors are dedicated professionals who are passionate about the environment and are focused on restoring the shorelines of Alaska by removing the debris that has accumulated over decades. We have local Alaskans, scientists, educators, and environmentalists who will be working with us to help clean coastal beaches.
Alaska Coastline Conservation Project
Our Directors put together a systematic plan to remove trash from Alaska beaches. Every year we will collect trash from the Wide Bay area shores and remove by barge to Seattle to be recycled and trash disposed. It takes hundreds of conservationists hours, equipment, and supplies to complete one season.
